Tonight I've returned to my traditional drink, which is the Godfather. Shake a light whiskey and any amoretto over ice. I usually use Seagrams Seven, but any light whiskey will do.
It's a very simple and delicious shot. Not classically a shot, but the venerable Rusty Nail sounds about up your alcoholic alley.

Yeah, a bit, I admit. I started drinking beers around 4 pm, and now it's only just after eight, and I feel... well, far from sloshed, but well past tipsy. Fun!

oh my.. I'm only 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine (a good portion of the wine ended up on me rather than in me) in, over the past 6 hours and I'm aso very drunk. I had theree goals for the night and have met 22::::::: goald 1 qwas to wake up in m y own bed. goal 2 was to have my shoes. goal 3 was to find a rando to make out with. only on ei didnt' meet was make outs. but at least i have my shoes. which i can't say for last weekend. i'm hungry though...

Me! I had two glasses of wine and now I'm very happy. I'm a lightweight (not literally, I'm tall, 170 pounds and proud) and I like it that way. More glasses of wine are in the works.

guys! hi! my toes are kind of numb. I just had an aewsome night out with my irlfirends. We imitated weird sex noises that people make. that has got to be the funniest. annnnd I've been texting with crush boy/teacher dude (read about him in the online dateing thread), who is also kind of drunk, but elseplaces...and I may or may not have informed him that hae was a nice person. which is a weird compliment. I want to go on a real date with him...I asked if he wanted to get a drink some time, sand he said "absolutely" which is good but we havent nailed down when/where. dramz. maybe a tub would be good. t hen I'll come bck to see who is drinking with me. por I might skip the tub and fool aroun d here instead. it will be a surprise

I went out for night 2 of my best friend's birthday celebration tonight. this guy tried to hit on her on our way back from the bathroom but she has a boyfriend and he asked who smelled like patchouli (me) so i ended up agreeding to play pool with him against his fridens if he bought me a drink. Result was an unfinished game of pool and he now hsa my number. he's in tonw for 10 days from California for Thanskgiving to visit his mom...he said he'd call this week sometime, maybe tomorrow to go watch football, or some other time to go out. he was cute...and I wouldn't mind a little fooling around...he's even getting his PhD in economics...but he lives so far away...but human contact would be good...oh my.

I am not drunk yet, but am planning to be in the next few hours. Had to open a bottle of red wine for the stew I just put in the oven and I see no reason not to finish it, and another half bottle we found in the fridge.
