I did turkish get ups a few weeks back! Did you practice with balancing a shoe?

I went on a hike, to the farmers market and out to brunch. Definitely a productive personal victory.

I just dove in with a dumbbell! A shoe is probably a good idea for getting the form right I bet.

I am reviving this years-old thread because I just found it and I like the idea.

So for me today: I did yoga for 20 minutes and then meditated for 10 minutes. This is a Big Deal for me to just get on with it, instead of wallowing in anxiety like I usually do. And I feel better for it.

Oh my gosh, I love this. (And how did I forget about it?)

Today I did not take the bait when my best friends real life troll of a husband tried to rile me up.

My new observed my teaching for the first time tonight. I wanted to dazzle his socks clear into next week, but I suspect my performance was only so-so.

HOWEVER! Before class started, one of my students said that I'm possibly the best teacher he's had in his life (he's an adult). That warmed my heart. Whatever happens with the observation results, someone is learning from me.

I mowed the yard (mowing the lawn really isn't that bad, but I always build it up in my mind as some dreadful task, which makes it hard to motivate myself to do it), and actually initiated social plans.

I made an appointment to see a therapist for the first time!! And I'm new to medicaid so it's complicated and I had to call like 500 different numbers to find out who is covered and where I can go and whatnot. But I didn't quit and I got that appointment! I also made a primary care appointment and a gyno appointment! And now I'm about to work out. Look at me getting my health in order!

That's big stuff. I know it can be really hard to start on this kind of overwhelming thing.

I did it! Finished my final yesterday & got my packing done today in 6 hours. Now I just need to clean over the weekend. I still despise packing though.

I was in bed and then I put on PANTS and reinserted my contacts to see friends who were watching a band play.
