I didn't give Mrs. Face a hard time after her show tonight about being ready to leave. I let her bask in the glow of a great gig.

(But I really did want to go.)

This morning I was looking all over my apartment for my gym socks, because I never put them away. After about ten minutes I decided to actually look in the sock drawer, and there they were! I felt so proud of my past self for being responsible, even if it confused my present self.

I put together our TV stand.

Yeah, one of the doors doesn't close all the way, and if you slam it shut the door on the other side opens, but hey. We have a TV stand!

Yesterday I got through almost everything on my to-do list at work. The only things I didn't finish were things for which I needed someone else's input. I felt accomplished.

Taping shut the door of my dryer stopped it coming open from the weight of the clothes inside!

I rejoined ppk, and look, said something. It is the little things. Most of the time I'm too lazy to hit reply.

I made an appointment for the dentist finally.
I woke up pretty early today.
I'm still the top poster here. I'm not even sure how that happened. I don't feel like I post all that much.

I inspired someone to make a new thread AND change their signature (though I was not directly quoted in either instance). All while drunk, too!

I took the girls to watch democracy in action by voting early. Now, I don't have to ruin a perfectly good day off with executing my civic duty.

I got out of bed to feed the cats/dogs even though I have a hangover.

If that's all I do today, I will be satisfied.

I had something for this thread last night when the boards went down, but now I don't remember what it was. :(

I woke up early, fed/walked the digs, showered, did my hair AND put on makeup all before 8 am.

Small, maybe. But significant. No, not small, really; facing your fears is kind of a big deal!
