Realistically, I would love to visit NYC. I'd love to see a Broadway show and do the whole vegan-restaurant-tour.

That's also why I'm not interested in Japan or India. But if someone invented transporters, I'd totally go. That's a shame, I suppose we'll have to visit you then! YES!!

I'm trying to resist a NYC trip this year and save money for a trip to Thailand & Laos with a friend.
Practically, I have a trip planned to Seattle in December, so far.

I have still never been to New Orleans and I've wanted to see it since I was a teenager.

Not been there yet but would like to:
Tokyo Kyoto Stockholm Barcelona Paris Vienna maybe Seoul Chicago
Been and would go again: Berlin Munich Kohln Philadelphia New York (would live there!) Madison
How come nobody wants to come to glorious Exeter?! You can see the beautiful Devon countryside, inhale the freshest of airs, be at the seaside in ten minutes, be spoiled for culinary choice at the two vegetarian restaurants and revel in the backwards-ness of it all!

If I could, I'd visit all cities.
Here are some of the cities I would specifically list and I really don't mean just these cities but surrounding areas as well:
Rome, It Florence, It Genova, Italy Prague, CZ Barcelona, ES Madrid, ES Dublin, IE (actually just want to do a driving tour of Ireland) Reykjavik, Iceland Norway (Fjords specifically - no particular city) Machu Picchu, Peru Galapagos Islands, Ecuador Paro, Bhutan (and just an overall Bhutan trip) Oamaru, New Zealand (and general south Island, possibly North Island new Zealand trip) Marrakech, Morocco (and general Morocco trip) San Jose, Costa Rica (and general Costa Rica trip) Cairo, Egypt (and pyramids, possibly Nile cruise) Istanbul, Turkey Delphi, Greece (and other parts of Greece that I haven't been to) Bangkok, Thailand Buenos Aires, Argentina
In the US, places that I haven't been yet that I'd like to visit include New Orleans, Boston, Portland (Maine), Portland (Oregon), Seattle, Yellowstone, Charleston, wherever Vantine lives in FL, and almost anywhere really.
I'm a little sad though because I've decided to buckle down my traveling budget which probably means no international trips for a few years.

Well, I think most people are still quite welcoming to individual or small group travelers. The large tour groups cause what I call "tourist hate" because they don't realize that we live and work in the city center. We were just talking about this at school last week, the Charles University has buildings near the Old Town square and when I go to work from there I need to cross it and go through one of the narrow lanes leading out of it. There's usually a neverending crowd of people walking at the speed of 1 meter per minute. And politely asking the tourists to let me pass doesn't work. So I often hate tourists. All PPKers are of course excepted from this tourist hate. Come to Prague, it's fun! Have you been to Greece (Athens and various islands)? How would you compare it to Greece? I mean, I loved Greece when I went before it joined the EU but it was very touristy and tourism was a big part of their industry, at least where I went. I hate touristy places but loved Greece so much. The people were so friendly and it was just awesome.

I keep forgetting places - I also want to visit New Orleans and Amsterdam (apart from just being in the airport). I was looking at trips and saw a trip that started in Edinburgh then did the Norway Fjords! That sounds so much fun. I may keep that trip on my list since Scotland sounds like fun and I really want to see the Fjords!

My husband and I aren't really the party type, we are like the boring type. We would want to walk around, possibly go hiking, eat some food, walk around some more. And we'd take you back home with us. We stole Jilly and vegchic before and we have a spare room but you might be attacked by cats.
