I experience pretty bad social anxiety and feel exhausted after being around others too long. I've been known to cancel plans repeatedly because of this. I feel bad about it too.

Whenever plans involve someone I'm interested in, I always go. That's my little story.

I second this! I literally never know what someone thinks of me until they say it explicitly, my last girlfriend literally kissed me before I knew she was interested in being more than friends. Don't kiss him, that's not my advice just be direct! Either way it'll be off your mind then?

Why am I so awkward?! ugh. I've been snapchatting a lot recently with a friend and I feel like it's been kind of flirty. But is it? or am I making it up? Like tonight he sent me a snap of his new haircut and I sent a selfie with the caption "cute hair!" so he responds "cute face! (you!)" and I don't know, it's a lot of little things like that. But I tend to crush hard on anyone who tells me I'm cute, so there's a high likelihood that I'm seeing flirtation where there is none.

Ahem. I found my crush on Facebook last night and sent him a friend request. He had accepted it by the time I woke up this morning. Then we spent 4 hours chatting, and he called me cute! Pretty good day so far. :)

So there's this person I've seen shop at my work a lot lately, and I had labeled them my number one Babe Alert. Well, yesterday night I went to my friends potluck, and they were there! And we talked and talked and talked. :O

Or you could just revel in the awesomeness and innocence of having a crush. You get to see these people, chat with these people, feel butterflies, and you don't have any other expectations or requirements like relationships :)

Darn, you make a good argument. I guess I don't have to ignore it. Her smile just kills me. Definitely improves the work day. :)

This isn't an active, actual crush, but there's this German guy here helping with the installation of a new tank we got. He's super tall and muscular and he never speaks or changes facial expression. It's like having Kahl Drogo walking around here. Also, everyone calls him "The Wolf."

He gives me the serious vapors.

And I am never going to speak to him (I don't know if he speaks English, even!), most likely, but do what Mars said -- "just revel in the awesomeness and innocence of having a crush."

Yooo cute people wearing sweaters and biking in berlin are going to be the DEATH OF ME. So many babes, no common language, much eye contact <333

Now I'm crushing on my recent date. SHE IS JUST SO AWESOME PPK!!! I foresee sadness in my future. Poo.

I have one! It's always a little weird, because I'm such a flirtatious person and I want to enjoy my crush but I also want to not do anything to ruin my monogamous relationship. I feel like crushing and flirting is totally cool, but is it cool to hang out alone with people you crush on when you're in a happy relationship, or is it pursuing it a little too much?

Last night I went to a queer dance party and saw this girl who I was pretty sure used to work at my New Seasons and I went up to her and said "Um, did you used to work at the Hawthorne New Seasons?" and she said "Yeah, I used to" and I said "I used to avoid your line because of how cute you were, which um, is a testament to what a dork I am." SMOOTH I KNOW. I'm really glad she doesn't work there anymore because then I could never go again.

It's so hard sometimes. I have a big recurring crush that I can't help hanging out with alone as I work closely with them musically. I resist the temptation to flirt and keep it all to myself.

My relationship is not quite monogamous (we have all kinds of rules about everything) and there was one guy I had a big crush on who it was not okay to hang out alone with, but now there's a new guy who has a crush on me and I think it's not cool for me to hang out alone with him.

"The Wolf" isn't here today. I hope he didn't leave to go back home. The days will be so boring at work without a big angry-looking German walking around!

Oh crumb. I finally said something to a coworker about the German guy and she was like "OHMYGOD YES HE IS SO HOT" and we thought he'd left to go back home. So of course we were talking out of our arses and made a hand-shake agreement that "next time" he comes here (we have 9 more installations for him over the next year for our expansion - woot!) we're gonna get him to come out with us to our local dive bar, if it's the last thing we do. All of that was just BS-ing because he's back in Germany, right? NO HE IS NOT.

Yep. Still here.

I have a crush on the vice chair of the board of an organization I am in the process of joining the board of.

There is nothing to do about it, really, other than smile shyly every now and then and try to decide if I am cuter than the girl I think might have been her date at tonight's fundraiser but who I am pretty sure she is only seeing casually.

Agh, guys, I have this HUGE crush on this guy who works with a non profit I volunteer with. We usually end up communicating a lot around some initiatives and I was so tempted to invite him over tonight for vegan pizza. [keysmash] I didn't and now it's too late. But ugh, he's so cute.
