My crush is fantastically talented, gorgeous, self-deprecating, made me an amazingly awesome smoothie this weekend, and has awesome taste in records. Unfortunately she is also dating (and living with) some dude and his baby. We're talking she's suddenly Mommy. I am totally uninterested in meeting anyone else and this is pretty much the worse thing ever.

I went on a nonromantic date with a new friend the other day and for various reasons I don't think either of us wants anything to happen between us but I want the possibility of thinking about what could happen. And also I want to cuddle.

I'm bummed. All the boys I end up liking are bouncers at bars and thus unavailable, or already dating someone. I can't tell if the girl I like genuinely wants to talk to me, or if she's just being nice, because I only see her when I go buy food at the grocery store where she works. I need to start crushing on people who are available. /grumble

I feel like Mars should give you tips on how to woo your grocery store crush.

I would give you tips but they would be like, go there every day and buy all the things and stare at the ground.

Oh yeah, There are definitely ways to do it! Definitely make a point to talk to them whenever you are there, learn their name, and make flirty eyes. Example: "Hey Tyler (queue flirty/sassy eye contact), how's it going today?" "Has it been busy today?" Sometimes people go to the grocery store twice in one day, and in that case you could say something like: "yeah, back again! I just couldn't stay away! (big sassy smile here)".

THOSE are not satisfying let me tell you.

I can't believe in a whole week nobody responded to this! Pick me! Pick me! I will sing to you and bake cookies and then eat them for you.

Sass, just ask her out! The worst thing that will happen is she will say no and then you might decide to use a different register during future grocery store visits if you're too embarrassed. My fiance asked me out while I was behind the register at a dollar store.

Ha. I pretty much already have THAT routine down.
Mars, I'll try it but I'm generally too shy for being witty.
Plus, did I mention the grocery store where she works is right across the street from where I work? And the only place I can get (insert delicious vegan food here)?

I had some what of a crush on some one over a year ago, but it turned out she wasn't single (as is often the case).

(leaving out some details, but) found out she is now single and probably based on nothing now I feel hopeful that renewing contact might give an opening for a better friendship or might lead somewhere.
Sent her an email today suggesting we could go out for dinner sometime in the next few months.

A big part of me is thinking why I'm even hoping this would go somewhere as I don't know her that well and don't even know how old she exactly is.

Update: me and former crush went out for dinner together this week and though I can't determine if this will ever go beyond the friendship level, I think I made a new friend. I do feel that gaining a new real friendship has more value than getting on to a romantic path. We talked about serious stuff. (like telling her about why/how I "arranged" euthanasia for my mother a few years ago)

Perhaps strange or what bothers me the most is that I promised to mail her a few links of me driving the motorcycle.....and I did mail her a few links that I normally don't make public...Now I'm waiting for the "you're nuts" reply, or something like "that's exciting" reply.

A boy I've had a crush on for two years, on and off, is currently in an on stage and it's so frustrating. We'll hang out, it'll be fantastic, then quiet for four days, then "What's up! Come to my show! Meet my family!"
wha-....huh?

Yeah bro!

Oh I don't think I told you all about another new crush of mine. We've been talking a lot on the Grindrs. He's veg, and a ginger! :)

I am totally in need of a new crush but all I've been doing lately is hanging out at home with my cat, writing and eating popcorn. Well, I do sort of have a crush on a girl who works at the New Seasons in my neighborhood. Maybe I should go get a latte there. And complain about their lack of vegan gluten-free baked goods. Because complaining is totally sexy. Or something.

Crushes are so weird! I feel like an obsessed weirdo when there's just one person. But right now, I have SO MANY crushes and I'm overwhelmed. They're all pretty weird and cool, how am I supposed to know who to focus on? I wish I could somehow cuddle with just one of them...

Today I am crushing on my ex because there is nobody else to crush on. Somebody hit me over the head with a butternut squash.

Go find someone else fast! Do you have any grocery store chains in your area where all the employees are unusually attractive?
