(leaving out some details, but) found out she is now single and probably based on nothing now I feel hopeful that renewing contact might give an opening for a better friendship or might lead somewhere. Sent her an email today suggesting we could go out for dinner sometime in the next few months.
A big part of me is thinking why I'm even hoping this would go somewhere as I don't know her that well and don't even know how old she exactly is. Update: me and former crush went out for dinner together this week and though I can't determine if this will ever go beyond the friendship level, I think I made a new friend. I do feel that gaining a new real friendship has more value than getting on to a romantic path. We talked about serious stuff. (like telling her about why/how I "arranged" euthanasia for my mother a few years ago) Perhaps strange or what bothers me the most is that I promised to mail her a few links of me driving the motorcycle.....and I did mail her a few links that I normally don't make public...Now I'm waiting for the "you're nuts" reply, or something like "that's exciting" reply.

A boy I've had a crush on for two years, on and off, is currently in an on stage and it's so frustrating. We'll hang out, it'll be fantastic, then quiet for four days, then "What's up! Come to my show! Meet my family!" wha-....huh?

Oh, on and off for years crushes are so annoying! I have one with someone from my hometown (Vancouver). It's been, what... Almost 10 years now?

Yeah bro!
Oh I don't think I told you all about another new crush of mine. We've been talking a lot on the Grindrs. He's veg, and a ginger! :)

I am totally in need of a new crush but all I've been doing lately is hanging out at home with my cat, writing and eating popcorn. Well, I do sort of have a crush on a girl who works at the New Seasons in my neighborhood. Maybe I should go get a latte there. And complain about their lack of vegan gluten-free baked goods. Because complaining is totally sexy. Or something.

Crushes are so weird! I feel like an obsessed weirdo when there's just one person. But right now, I have SO MANY crushes and I'm overwhelmed. They're all pretty weird and cool, how am I supposed to know who to focus on? I wish I could somehow cuddle with just one of them...

Today I am crushing on my ex because there is nobody else to crush on. Somebody hit me over the head with a butternut squash.

So on-off-crush-boy is a jerk. Not really, since he was sick yesterday, but seriously? If you spend a Saturday night kissing, handholding, dancing, and getting all sweaty at a show together, then walk her out and say a cute goodbye, chastise her for her 'doubting eyes' when you say you want to see her tomorrow, then never call or text her, you're kind of a jerk. And then she calls at 10.30 and wakes you up, you say you've felt sick, and she feels mean, but is angry you didn't have the forethought to text me "Hey, I'm feeling crummy. Raincheck?" So he said he'll call today. But I'm not holding my breath.
So I'm flirting with a very, very cute girl on a dating site.

Today the new crew of grad students came to campus. And I started chatting with one and got that crush feeling. You know, meeting really smart, ambitious people who are trying to change the world. And are tall ladies with long dark hair. But then when the prof had people pull out laptops for an exercise, I noticed her background was her and some dude. Mostly I am relieved that I can have crush-like feelings for someone.

CRUSH. GUYS. OMG. We sat on my couch and watched TV and he played with my hair for like an hour and a half non-stop. Dudes. Did you know there are people out there who'll pet you and scritch your head for an hour and a half straight? I thought people just do that for a minute or two and then their hand gets tired and they stop.
(and in case ya'lls are curious, that was all we did)

Crush! Girl came into my work today and new to the city, veg, and close to my age. Definitely hung out tonight, but with her sister and my roommate. Some flirting, but nothing definite.

There's a new person in my department (he transferred from another department & is going to mostly work in the field) and I was talking to him yesterday about IDs since I need to make him one and I said something or other about pictures (we've got a guy who can take really good quality pictures) and somehow I managed to accidentally infer that he was ugly. Or at least, he teased me saying that's what I said. Which flustered me so much because he's actually one of the cutest guys I've seen at work. New crush alert. (And I suck at flirting so I just stammered)
Someone teach me how to flirt!

My latest crush and I had our second platonic(ish) date and I left it with more of a crush than I started it with. We drank wine on a playground and played ukulele and were possibly inappropriately flirty and touchy with each other.

Sudden and unexpected crush. Went on second 'friend/getting to know you' date with POF guy last night. Whole night was relaxed, coffee, funny movie at the cinema, followed by my favourite bar, which he loved. Dropping him home he said he knew it was only meant to be a friend date but he really wanted to give me a kiss, just one kiss. I was drawn to him but didn't know if the attraction was that strong, so I said ok and *BAM*, one light kiss gave me motherforkin' butterflies in my tummy! It's only the 3rd time in my life I've had that, I almost married the first one, the second was the best sex of my life and now this. The feeling seems to be going both ways but I'm taking my time and shall behave myself for as long as my willpower holds out. But hot damn, butterfly kisses are the best!!
Got a text this morning to say he can't wait to see me again. We're making arrangements for the next couple of dates to be in public places, to help us control ourselves. I expect some sort of public lewdness charge by the end of the week :P

Complaining? Kind of. Sexy? Well, not unsexy, exactly... Now BG and I never worked out (in no small part because she's probably straight...), but! But! Reasons!

Alright. So THE crush (guy I've had a crush on for literally 3 years) is finally single. We hung out the other day and did nerd stuff. He also totally found my OkCupid and messaged me but in a making-fun-of-me way. Have absolutely no idea what to do. Help me, PPK!
