I have a date tomorrow night! It was supposed to be a group thing with two mutual friends (a married couple), but he asked them not to come. shiitake. Now I'm nervous! I have a big crush on the guy, but we live far apart, which makes it complicated.

Crushfriend and I are going to hang out on Sunday. He left me this awesome voice mail today: "Hi, it's (name), it's Wednesday, about 2 pm...the sky is a really nice cornflower blue...a little bit hazy...it's probably 35 degrees...Warm. Just wanted to see what you're up to, I hope you're having a nice afternoon.".

I think crush is with some random guy now, and I'm jealous and have no right to be. She may also be too polite to shut me down, so I'll try to do it myself.

My crush just left my house now and was with me all day. He played a lame DVD trivia game with my family and I, and seemed to genuinely have fun. Then we watched Flight of the Conchords in my bed and cuddled and kissed a bunch. Tomorrow we're going to two New Years parties together.

I just had something end recently and we're trying to stay in touch because we've been close friends for a long time. On the one hand it's good because losing him completely would be awful, but...I'm sad. I'm really sad.

ouch, i think i'm in the process of being dumped.

it's that guy i've mentioned before - we've been hooking up for a few months now, and at first it was intense and awesome, but since around christmas, he seems to have sort of lost interest in me. at least, it went from being 2-3 times a week to one a week maybe. i know he's busy with work, but it's always me contacting him, and he doesn't really reply to my texts - which he used to do instantly and always. he cancelled our date tuesday and when i called him yesterday, he told me we should try to make it work today and "let's just talk about it tomorrow, when i know what my plans are with work". i texted him 5 hours ago to ask what's up. so far, no response, and it's midnight. so it won't happen. i'm kind of pissed, since it's fine if he doesn't want to hook up anymore, but then he could at least have the decency to tell me that, instead of just avoiding me.

I am so glad we've invented the "heart boner" because really that's the most accurate description of this thing I have going on right now. I don't want to say more than that because oh god what if they come and read this??? but, wow, I haven't gotten like this about another person in YEARS*. I'm all melty and gooey. Like honestly I don't even care if it turns into a sexual thing or even a romantic thing. I just want to be around this person as much as possible and soak up the awesome happy wonderful oh my god i love you energy.

I have a crush on a boy I'll likely never see again...he showed up at my work today, danced like mad by himself out under the entrance (like in the open, for no reason other than the park music was playing) and was super funny to talk to while he was waiting for his ride. He was probably 20-22 max. I'm 30. heh. I must like em young.
