Ooooh! Motivation to get better quick!

On my way to the library today I saw crush sitting in the canteen. If it wasn't for the fact that I was carrying a costa coffee I would have totally gotten a coffee and sat down. Then maybe accidentally spilled it all over me and needed medical attention. *ahem*

Last night I went to a screening of Repo Man (such a great movie, b.t.dubs). I was sitting on a couch by myself, as my movie buddies flaked out (they were in food comas and had to be up early for work the next day, both valid excuses), two cute dudes ask if they can share the couch. I say sure, we start talking before the movie starts. . . It became apparent that the guy sitting next to me is pretty annoying (talked incessantly through the movie, etc.), but his friend seems smart/funny/interesting. Friend leaves shortly after movie ends; I didn't get a chance to get his number or anything because annoying dude is trying to hit on me. This afternoon I posted a Craigslist missed connection along the lines of, "We met at [venue] last night, you seemed cool but your friend was hogging the convo, I doubt you read these, but if you do, let's grab a drink or coffee or something if you're interested." A few hours later I get a response (including required "I'm not fake" detail, obvi), saying he'd like to meet up and looks forward to seeing me again.

TL;DR: I'm meeting a guy who I'm mildly crushing on tomorrow night, as a result of a CL missed connection. Excitement! Potential awkwardness due to his friend mildly hitting on me, but that's something to worry about down the road, if ever.

Ok, guys, I just basically suggested to my comedy class crush that we hang out (to be comedy buddies, which my coworker who is teaching the class suggested that we all find!) in my work email. But she said she needed different comedy buddies! And I'm right here! Sooooo.

Also I am crushing on a barista at the Starbucks near my work. I see a lot of black tea lemonades sub two pumps blackberry for classic in my future.

This describes my feelings perfectly as well. Despite apparently having a crush at every single place I go at this point.

I hung out with my comedy class crush until 1 am and we are probably just going to be friends and she is exactly the kind of person I always fall for and shouldn't I think. But somehow happy hour turned into more drinks turned into watching music videos turned into her making me dinner and watching a movie?

woooo! that sounds like a pretty swoon-worthy night! Why just friends? Why should you fall for her? Why am I asking so many questions?

It was swoon-worthy (like, we did happy hour at two bars and then she was like, um, what are your plans now, because I have to feed my friend's cats, do you want to come to NW with me, there is whiskey at her house, which, yes, dream night) and I am having a rough time articulating the answers to the other questions! I am processing it with your crush on Facebook chat though.

I think there is just this particular personality type that I always end up falling super hard for (charismatic, cocky, cynical, emotionally unavailable) and it's not like I'm actually emotionally invested in this person yet I'm just already like oh yeah I remember how this goes! Good pattern! But I'll probably just focus on the swooning for now. And I'm available for chatting and anything else whenever!

Also my second cousin who is currently staying with me probably thinks I am the drunkest sluttiest person in the world right now.

Oh man. Ex crush had a really, extraordinarily crepe day at work today and was incredibly stressed. I just wanted to give him a hug and be there for him but I couldn't.

I take everything back, I'm just immediately skeptical of anyone I like too much because I have a history of bad choices, but I think I kind of misread her and all the just friends stuff is definitely out the window and I'm pretty smitten. We cuddled and made out and she read me Chicana lesbian poetry and talked about feelings which is basically how lesbians have sex.

Awww Sberry! That is so cute!

Guys. Feelings have definitely come back up. I got to chat with him very briefly today. He thanked me for the support yesterday and that he really appreciated it. We got to chat very briefly before one of the nasty cows came in to rescue him. All I wanted to do all day is give him a big hug.

Someone hit me hard. Why can't I just crush on someone that is uncomplicated?
