I have peach and European Cornel. I made the peach one last summer and it's too sweet, my mum made the cornel last year and it's too sour, so i mix them on my bread and they are perfect.

What was the last game you played?

Small world! It's a board game where you use fantasy races to take over territories on your map. It's tough to find games to play with just two people, that can also be played with more. We like it!

What is the best adventure you've gone on so far this summer?

I got lost in the woods with my friend and his sister and got bruised and scratched by branches and stumps.

If you could suddenly know one different language, what would it be?

German, for sure. I spend way too much time in Germany for how crappy my German is at the moment. :)

What's you favorite city in the world and why ?

Aarhus. It has a great university (one of the few in my area of specialization), sweet woods and gorgeous beaches. Also, several of my best friends still live there. Otherwise, Vancouver (for similar reasons).

Did you watch the Mars landing?

No, but I feel like I should have. . . maybe I'll look up a video of it online.

YES! All the time.
Favorite band?

I don't really have one favorite band now, I like lots of different stuff. But I can tell you that when I was a teenager I was pretty obsessed with Oingo Boingo.

What's your favorite piece of technology that didn't really exist when you were a kid, but is fairly commonplace now?

I'm going with cell phones. . . they were around when I was a kid, but very few people outside of Japan had them, and most of them were brick-like and not too useful.

What did you eat for breakfast this morning?

Noochy toast and a banana!

Who was your first celebrity crush?

Bwahaha. Frankie Muniz. Bwahahaha. I wonder if he still. . . exists? I haven't heard anything about him in ages.

What TV show(s), if any, are you currently obsessed with?

Breaking Bad for sure!

What is one city you hope never to go back to?

Vegas

favourite snack?

Florence - Beautiful art, beautiful city, packed full of people trying to illegally sell you things on the side of the road in a manner that borders on harassment, shopkeepers trying to fleece you, and nightclub owners making your friends cry. It's a shame, because the city itself is so beautiful, and our hostel owners treated us like old friends. My female friend, who I was travelling with, said she didn't like going out on her own because she was just leered at constantly.

What is your most decadent food purchase?

I think my favorite snack and most decadent food purchase might be the same: The peaches from the farmer's market that cost $3 per peach. They make me die a little with happiness.

Favorite thing to get at the farmer's market?

This will not be common in some regions, but I love it when there's a stand selling maple products, like syrups and all that jazz. Maple candy will rot your teeth but it's pretty awesome.

How long do you think you could sit in utter silence before it really started to bother you?

I think the sitting would bother me before the silence would. A couple of hours maybe?

What's the hottest weather you've ever personally experienced?

109 degrees. I thought I was going to explode.

What song did you listen to most recently?

I just wandered over to a coworker's desk and she was playing Summer of '69, so I guess that's it.

How long do you think it will take me to swim 2.5 miles across Lake Washington tomorrow morning?

I should know the answer to this ;) urrrm. three hours?

Well, yeah. They're like the third easiest ones (after 2s and 5s.)

What's the coldest weather you've ever personally experienced?

Montreal at night in February. I don't remember the temperature, but I will never forget the burning feeling on my skin.
