What's your favourite herb/spice to cook with?

Cumin!

If you could have an extra body part that some other species has but humans generally don't have (like a tail or horns or a dorsal fin...), what would you have?

It's a little black and white cloth skeleton with magnets at the hands and feet.

What are/were your favourite shoes of all time?

I had these amazing cowboy boots when I was little. They were red and black and went with every outfit ever. No shoes will ever live up to them.

If you had to dress up in a costume for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Space Unicorn :D

If you had to choose an article of clothing that you are currently wearing, and NEVER wear that article of clothing again, what would you choose? (As in, if you choose pants, you would never wear ANY pants again, not just the specific pair you happen to have on right now.)

Guinea pig hairs (I'm in really slouchy indoors-only clothes, good for cuddling animals).

Are there any foods you've eaten too much of in your life and don't really want to eat again?

I love the tahini sauce that comes on the Korean BBQ tempeh at my favorite veg restaurant, Rosetta's Kitchen. I don't know what all is in it besides tahini, and I've only ever had it on tempeh, but it'd be really good on roasted veggies.

How many, and which, bones have you broken?

I have a few...18 I think. They include a broccoli, a narwhal, a globe with roses around it, a NYC snow globe, a naked lady eating a bowl of skulls & one with snakes in her hair, far too many stars and the two I got this weekend at the Brighton Tattoo Convention: a My Little Pony and a dagger going through a kiwi fruit!

What's your favourite / most watched movie?

For cooking I usually prefer yellow onions because I feel they have the most flavor. But I will use red some times to add color to a dish.

What is your favorite way to spend a snow day?

Inside. Although on our last snow day, my roommates and I built a huge fort/igloo big enough to fit four adults inside. It was spectacular!

Where did you last go on vacation?

I'm just going to answer the vacation question.

The Catskills. We hung out in Woodstock and went thrifting in Kingston.

If you could live in the world of a book, what book would that be?

I think the Harry Potter world would be fun, especially if I lived in Harry Potter's Britain!

What city do you think is most vegan-friendly in the U.S.? Elsewhere in the world?

I live in the UK and am pretty new to veganism, but of the places I've been I think London was the best (big city with lots of hipsters, I guess?).

If you could bring back any extinct animal, which would you choose?

Queztalcoatlus skybax! Okay, so I don't know if that's actually a species outside of Dinotopia, but. Still.

Nightlights: do you love or hate them?

Love them as I don't like sleeping in the dark. My sister bought me a really sweet little bunny nightlight that sits by my bed.

What is your favourite childhood memory?

I can't pick one! Baking bread with my mom, my dad making up fabulous adventure stories to tell us at bed time, my mom reading long chapter books to us when we were small (the entire Oz series, The Chronicles of Narnia, the Little House series, The Hobbit, Alice in Wonderland...), riding on my dad's shoulders, an Autumn day in the woods where we made a huge pile of leaves and jumped in it and buried ourselves up to our necks in leaves, making home made Halloween costumes and going trick or treating with my siblings and the neighborhood children.

What was the best birthday celebration you ever had?
