The most shocking thing about tonight is that P just changed the space heater from oscillating to stationary just on HIM!!

I need to get motivated to clean at night. I'm awake- why not do something productive?
I'm just getting buried in with ice and snow. Guess that means I'll have time tomorrow?

Been there, done that. Now I'm eating soup and watching It's A Wonderful Life.

Ravioli dinner (with lots of nooch) in bed with my partner, followed by a game of Upwords. After that, we watched a couple of episodes from season 3 of Breaking Bad and ate some chocolate sandwich cookies. The last weekend of calm before the huge holiday visitor storm that begins on Wednesday and ends after the new year.

I went on a really flop date...for 2.5 hours. Now, I am having a beer and watching White Christmas, contemplating if 10:16 is too late for dinner...

It's never too late for dinner. Or for breakfast for dinner.

i've actually had this headache all forking day. i think it's from a combination of lack of sleep and the blazer i wore yesterday and today - because of the collar, i guess it made me stand a certain way/hold a certain posture all day, so the neck muscles have been pulling on my head muscles and now it just hurts. :(

really looking forward to tonight, though! i can go to sleep whenever i want and sleep in as late as i want. :)

if i were snowed in, i would make lots of popcorn, watch some movies, drink tea, listen to music and cook something.

well, the main thing preventing dinner is the lack of food...I've needed to go food shopping for about a week...Maybe I'll do something with the block of tofu I have...I just wish I had veggies...even frozen ones.

Why can't we hang out? I'll make the popcorn and tea, you can cook? I can't cook for shiitake. I can bake, though!

I've got groceries, Fizzgig! And frozen veggies! But no tofu :(

Now: doing dishes, making quiche, marinating jerk seitan, and getting annoyed by the party across the hall.

Soon: eating leftovers (it'll be too late for quiche when it's done, and I'm too lazy to worry about the seitan now), watching Battlestar Galactica, doing some cross-stitching and drinking by myself.

Oh, and as I was typing this, the party volume increased quite a bit. Grrrr.

Oh, now they've closed the door, apparently. It got a little quieter. They're still going in and out from the porch, smoking, and taking pictures of my cat, who sits in the window.

ravenmccoy: that sounds like a pretty good night...I love taking pictures of myself making funny faces!...do we get to see some?

semi: I had the tropical kind...not my favorite, but still good. I really like the gingerbread one. And yes...I think I might try pan popping my popcorn...I usually microwave it, but I think I might try the fancy way...

I should have made popcorn, but instead I had crackers and peanut butter. Lots of them. In sandwich form.
Yum. I'm going to pass out for an hour.

I cut my own hair, and now Chris and I are watching "The X-Files: I Want To Believe." He netflixed it. I think it is going to be atrocious.

Never mind above. Instead of stitching, BSG and leftovers, I quickly reorganized my desk area of the living room. My roommate and I went through our closets a few weeks ago and collected several garbage bags of clothes and crepe for donation. They've been blocking my desk ever since.

Now I'm going to play Left 4 Dead and eat quiche, since it's out of the oven and cooling. BSG and stitching may still happen by the end of the night.

I've still got lingering bits of flu, so I'm going to drink a small hot chocolate and then I'm going to curl up in bed with a book I've read no less than three times before. Ideally no later than 9:30 p.m.
