So tremendously boring and frustrating, fighting a migraine and craving muffins that I don't have the ingredients for. It's a pathetic saturday night.

I'm staying in and looking after the babymonster while my husband works third shift. Hooray.

I am alphabetizing my spices and organizing my tupperware by size. next I will clean out the fridge and clean my stove top. then it is on to mop the floor and do the bathroom. and fold some laundry. so we're talking serious boredom. amazing how clean you become when there are things that need to get done....if I still have energy after the cleaning I think I will make a pie. I'm debating between wine and hot chocolate right now...

Feel free to head over here if you still have energy to clean after all that. :)

I wish this thread was around on my Saturday night (it's well into Sunday here). I didn't do a damn thing. I ate dinner and went on the ppk and lamented about how the boards are always more active when I'm sleeping because the vast majority of ppkers are in the US. Then I found a cockroach, I guess that was the highlight. Then I had some plum wine and went to sleep.

I've been half-watching Rough Science episodes, eating some crepe that is really not good for me, refusing to do the dishes until later, dreaming about getting a magical discounted membership to a gym so that I can just run on a treadmill when it rains instead of debating if I should ruin my running shoes, and so on. I did at least consume some of the mixed greens that are about to go off, and I'm thinking about hand-washing some bras. It has been raining allllllllllll day.

My night has been pretty boring. I finished the reading for my Monday and Tuesday classes, washed some dishes, made some popcorn, and that's about it.

Plum wine! I have half a bottle in the fridge. It's so sweet I usually have to cut it with white wine.

Tonight: beer, T.V. and the PPK. I'm dreading work so much that I want to make this weekend as boring as possible so it feels longer.

I just cleaned my closet, the kitchen and washed the dogs. No, it doesn't sound too exciting but when you add a couple cocktails to the mix it makes everything seem a lot more interesting.

I want to be like the people who clean when they are bored. I avoid cleaning when I'm bored..

I actually had a bunch of people ask if I could hang out this weekend but I declined because I have lots of stuff I need to get done. So now of course I am not getting any of it done, I'm just sitting around being bored and unproductive. Well... much less productive than I would like, anyway. Homework homework homework.

Today, I changed the coolant in my car. Apparently you are supposed to do that more often than every six years. Who knew? Big day, big day.

I tried to rotate my bed in my room. But it didn't work, so I put it back. I did, however, rearrange my bookshelves and the cubbies where I keep my socks and underwear. Then I arranged my books by color, but I'm not sure how much I like it. This was all while watching Doctor Who.

Then I called the boy, who is too busy studying for midterms to hang out. I reheated some VWAV chipotle-corn-black bean stew, made a PBJ and a glass of apple cider, and lost all interest in finishing the work on my room. So I found myself here.

I need to put all my covers and pillows back on my bed and push all the junk into the living room so I can sleep. Ugh.

Indeed, it was. Pad Thai Noodle Soup. My version of it, anyways...

I worked and I slept! I also listened to the latest Our Hen House podcast. I was quite happy with my Saturday night actually.

Boring? Hell no! Horton Hears a Who was on tv, and then Jaws!

Today I cleaned out my car and unclogged the shower drain, even that was fun... I am starting to worry about my sanity now... Damn you stupid thread!

I did laundry, finished the first season of The Batman and did my nails. Meant to put away my comics, but forgot. It's nearly 3 AM and I can't sleep so I'm PPKing from my phone under the covers because it's freezing.
