I have mine arranged by colour and I think it's awesome. Boyfriend thinks it's ridiculous, but it's a glorious rainbow of nerdiness and I don't understand how he couldn't love it. Besides, I tend to remember stupid things like the colour of all my books, so I find it easier to find things that way.

I totally need to alphabetise my spices too, every time I need one, without fail, it's stuck at the back of the pantry somewhere. I don't know how it happens.

Such a boring saturday night. I am so lonely. terrible terrible saturday night. I put off doing anything useful all day, washed some dishes, and I got asked for oral sex via text message (I refused) Now I'm listening to Johnny Hobo and the freight trains and feeling really really sorry for myself.

My Saturday night is actually pretty sweet. I'm visiting my friend in Brooklyn this weekend and we had dinner at Kate's Joint and then went to Babeland. We are huge dorks and so instead of buying any actual sex toys, we bought a freaking book of Adult Mad Libs. We are seriously going to spend our Saturday night playing Adult Mad Libs. YES.

I have plans to go out later but I really really really want to stay in and watch Buffy and eat plain tofu and just be really vegan.

it's 1.35am and I need to get up to sneeze in students' faces in 6 hours but I've been sitting on my asparagus on the internet since I got home from work at 7pm and I think I've forgotten how to stand up. Even my cat is mocking me. I might just stay here for the night.

i've been packing for new york since i got home from work at 7. also, i talked to my parents (again) so they could wish me a happy trip (again). what else? watching my cats ignore me because they don't care that i'm about to be gone for 4 days. jerks.

what else? worrying about my trip and whether or not i'm going to be able to stomach my crazy, but loveable aunt for 2 entire days. and also what the fork i'm going to do on a train for 15 hours. and also whether she's really cool with making restaurants i want to eat at destinations and whether or not she will like the food and whether or not we're going to see a show tuesday because i kind of don't want to.

my saturdays are always the most boring.

I can see why sneezing in student's faces PPKing is the highlight of your Sunday.

I posted this in the random thread, but I did actually tell a student today "if you don't leave this room now, I will sneeze in your face." Admit it, you're jealous you don't go to my uni.

Someone sneezing in my face just might be the highlight of my day. Not the exciting highlight I'd want, but a highlight nonetheless.

Proposal writing. Lots of going back and forth. Printing articles I think I need only to realize that theory isn't applicable at all. Lots of eating chocolate chips from the bag. Pretty exciting!

I did have a good idea just now though, which sort of made it all worth it!

Knitting. Lots and lots of knitting with movies I know really well playing in the background. This way I can concentrate on what I'm doing and look up during the really interesting/funny parts.

And of course PPK and reading some MoFo blogs...

I stayed in bed and watched SLC Punk! on my mom's laptop, even though I was invited out by a friend to a show. The problem was that she invited me without offering a means of getting to said show. So... she decided to instead drive 20 minutes out of her way to pick up a girl we're both crushing on. And this girl was free because [drum roll] I couldn't get a ride to hang out with her tonight. FUUUUUU!
