Humidity is at 73% here. It's been ridiculously humid the past week or so. I can't take it.

I hear that. It's only 94 here today, but with humidity at 79% and a heat index of 99, I really regretted going outside earlier.

It was much more humid earlier but I was indoors at work. The 80degree kitchen felt great comparably.
We all need igloos!

after weeks of rain, it's finally sunny here!

omg, we got close to freezing this morning. and the cold season hasn't really begun yet..... yeeeep!

Now's my chance to whine about how ridiculously hot it is. We have highs of 99 to look forward to today and tomorrow. It is only 96 now, but the heat index is already 102.

dewpoints in the 70s plus as far as the eye can see, as well as 90s as far as the eye can see. that pretty much means until october.

i hate the south and summer.

97 degrees fahrenheit here. stepping outside makes it hard to breathe almost...this is the hottest day of the year so far. oh, southern summers. I'm glad I'm leaving kinda soon. I'll be in sweden for nearly a month from the end of june through the middle of july, which will undoubtedly be awful here and totally bearable there.

And yet somehow with the NC heat, they can make it freezing in this office!! It's hot, but the sun surely is beautiful.

Rolling in the 90s. I have a house with ceiling fans and can't complain. Mr. Bran stretches on the porch.

my house either is freezing or hot - changing the temp one degree - oy. set at 75, freezing. set at 76, hot.

annoying! Thermostat said last night the house was 79. I don't know how, but I was comfortable. I think it's wonky because it's set on 74/75 and it doesn't run all the time even if it says 79 on the temp.

I teach in a classroom that is always about 10 degrees hotter than it is outside. Today was hell. I would do better teaching without heat in the winter--I could wear a coat and jump around. There is nothing to do to cool down. Hell.

while i had a client mr torque was using this computer and streaming some Massachusetts radio-- and just now there was a tornado warning for there and for Boston! Tornadoes! Be safe folks!

At 5:30 it was 104 here. we were going out for a walk, stupidly thinking it had become tolerable outside.

The Pacific Northwest has yet to even see the start of summer... it's actually been so wet up here most cities are experiencing flooding of water reservoirs etc. It's showing no signs of letting up.

It didn't reach Boston, but hit Springfield whoamigod hard. It's like the tornado was aimed directly at my school. (I was in the school's basement, but my mom was in her car on campus.) Everyone's fine, though! All police, fire, EMT and other emergency units (even CSI because the city needs any vehicle and man power they can get) from across the county and state, plus FEMA, NEMA and the National Guard are in Springfield. My dad was only able to come home for less than six hours early this morning and then had to go back out there.

I'm at work and have a ton of windows behind me and it was so cool...one minute it was mostly cloudy but still sunny-ish, and then it suddenly got dark and now we're having a thunderstorm! I'm sure I'll love it less when it is time to leave the building and be outside in this, but for the moment I'm enjoying it

The ocean is still around 63 degrees which is just a bit too cold to not wear a wetsuit in the morning...so I have to wear a wetsuit for maybe another few weeks. And its 72 degrees today and sunny. LAME!

I got you all beat. High of 108 today, 113 expected tomorrow. My air conditioning crapped out on me yesterday, but luckily maintenance was able to fix it. Otherwise I'd be staying in a hotel.
