It's finally raining in SE Texas. If you've noticed anything about that area on the Weather Channel, we've been in a severe drought since January. Really happy.

3rd thunderstorm of the night - big and on top of us. But 2 local-ish wildfires and one controlled burn going on. Wind blowing the rain in sheets, broken trees, huge rumbles.

Feelin' hot hot hot. (I just watched the episode of "The Office" where Michael [pathetically] sang/played this song on a steel drum after going to Jamaica with Jan. I wish I had Michael Scott here to accompany me as I sing).

Yikes. Today is humid and in the 90s but at least its going down (that's what she said).

I'm a cold weather person, and my house heats up and keeps the heat bottled up inside, so its about 18 outside right now (went up to 26 earlier), not sure what the house temperature was but I'm currently half passed out in front of a fan.

It's hot. 120F+, the wind is like a hair dryer in your face. Work/Rest cycle? -please, we don't follow that.

equally horrible- it's mid october and STILL not getting warm; winter weather here. when will this winter end? usually the second week of september it is summer weather. curses.

DC weather has been ridiculously amazing the last two days. I'm going to walk to get pie ingredients soon and I'm going to walk extra slow because it's so lovely.

It's 90 here. I want it to cool down or rain or something. At least maybe a nice breeze?

The sun's been out for about three (four?) days straight. I feel like that's some of record for Vancouver in the middle of October. Needless to say, I've been soaking it in.

It's getting colder, and soon there is going to be SNOW! Outside right now, I can see my breath! I'm so excited.

We got our first snow last Saturday. It's pretty and all, but a year and a half in Colorado has taught me that I'm 100% a beach girl. One more winter to slog through, and I can move back to the land of sunshine, white sand, and humidity!

It was chilly and raining when I was out running errands, but the sun came out as soon as I got all settled in front of the computer with a cup of tea.

27° Celsius, catamaran breeze, cloudless. Dogs konked out ying/yang on the weed pile. The skinks are in bloom. Payoff for months of Promethean rain.

Ugh. It's raining...again. And I have to go out and get groceries. So that means I get to walk a mile to and from the store in the rain with heavy stuffz. :(

The power flickered off for about 30 seconds, at which point I shouted, "fork you, storm! fork you!" I was in the middle of cooking an Indian feast.
