The lists were sorted by time on the old board. But when entering the Living Room, there was the bold title that showed what was new since I was last on the PPK (within 15 minutes or so). And obviously, all of these posts were together at the top. SO I knew what section to read. So I could go straight to the newest post to me and read up through them to see what was new. I don't keep track of what time I come and go, so now I have no way of knowing what is new without scanning all the dates and times on the right side, but that is vague since I do not log in and out on a time card for handy reference.

At the upper right of the screen, just below the logout option, is a time stamp.

I am still not satisfied. I don't need all these newfangled hot or not buttons. This isn't the Paris Hilton blog room.
I will have to now go to every dang room and click on the mark as read button to keep track of things. Let me tell you, that is not happening.

'View new posts' might be helpful.

Well yes, but that lumps all posts from all rooms together. I know I am a freak anachronism but I had a certain way of browsing the forums that I suppose just doesn't work here. I am sure I will create a poll real soon to let the PPK decide how I should approach the forums now what with the hot bot buttons and all. Perhaps I will only look at every 5th post on the full moon of the 5th month. Why yes.
