Oh. It was only a kidney. That's ok then.
ETA: if you are going to eat dead animal parts, why is one particular part any grosser than another? This mystifies me (although, 20 years ago, I suppose it wouldn't have).

Quote: “I had to take days off work because I was feeling so sick and I have lost money. The company have only offered to give me the cost of the meal back and that is not acceptable." Seriously? He was eating chicken flesh, but the mere sight of the kidney made him so sick that he had to take off work? What does this guy think chickens are made of?

Personally, I'd rather eat a brain than a kidney. Kidneys are full of pee.

How can people be surprised about finding "unappetizing" body parts in what they order from fast food restaurants??

Allison, not Alison wrote: "Finding a brain in my food tells me that my food once had a brain. This is something I don't want to think about." Totally. I think this is the key.

One time when I was in elementary school, a friend found something that looked exactly like that brain/kidney in her school lunch chicken! Of course we all shrieked and called over a teacher to tell her we found a brain in the lunch, but, uh, none of us had to take "days off" school. Even at age seven, we knew that animals had more than just the "edible parts" inside them. Anyway, as gross as that article was (especially his description of how he eats the chicken), I was kind of glad to finally find out what the mystery school lunch brain actually was!
