I believe that the state of Kansas has an unfair market monopoly concerning state cake pans. Are other states upset about this? Are you? Perhaps the rest of us need to change some borders to be more accessible for grandpa's 90th birthday bash. Why should Kansas be celebrated to the detriment of West Virginia?
I would like to hear your thoughts.

My thoughts exactly! Time for a cake pan petition. This important issue has been sidelined by mindless election drivel long enough!

i'd eat a west virginia shaped cake.

i'd eat a cake in almost any shape, though.

I would like a Maryland-shaped cake, although it would need to be a double layer in order to be large enough to share.

I'm worried that a California cake would cook unevenly and would necessarily have to be a "magic" cake - if you get the cut of my jib.

Y'all should just move to Texas, where the Texas cake pans and cowboy boot cake pans are plentiful.

I am happy to see some people are also interested in this topic. With all the focus on the recent election going toward candidates and congress perhaps it is time to make our voices heard.

I would argue that Kansas is worse off than, say, Colorado or Wyoming. They're both at least cornered on all four sides. We've got a bite taken out of our state in the northeast corner (stupid Missouri River!) and it's hard to get those squiggles just right. The people in Doniphan County can get especially tetchy if you fork up their part of the state line.

I say just get a NoCal pan. Who cares about the rest, anyway?
