It went well! It was a preliminary interview with the CEO. I figured there would be at least one more interview after this one. We mostly just talked about what the position entails, and how it compares to what I currently do. He said he would get back in touch with me very soon.

Just seeing the picture of an elephant makes my heart skip. As terrifying as moving to Tennessee is, being able to hang around elephants all day would make it completely worth it.

BTW - just googled directions from Nashville to The Elephant Sanctuary - it appears to be a 90-minute drive. But I bet that there are better rentals close by; rural America generally has pretty cheap rent.

Yeah, I'm kind of excited about living near Nashville. Although I do wonder what vegan food options there would be ...
I found a couple of great places for rent within 15 miles of the sanctuary, so I think I'll be okay in that department.

Nashville is about 400 times more vegan friendly than Memphis, so I LOVE visiting because there are SO many options compared to what I'm used to. But I doubt most people from most other places in the country would agree.
