This made my day.
I was just sitting here fretting about my messy apartment (I wish I were kidding.) Thanks for the reality check.

Well, the problem is that you weren't A) cleaning the apartment or B) going out shopping to buy your Procter & Gamble goods! Fretting won't do that pretty little coiffed head of yours any good now, sweetheart!

You guys, I am both facetious and snarky. The next time my mom asks me, "Are you being facetious?"*, I am going to say, "YES MOM. THAT'S HOW I ROLL."

*This happens a lot.

Your snark has actually distracted Consumerist readers from noticing that PPK is a vegan forum so far. So I would say you're facetious, snarky and magical!

I laughed so hard I hurt myself. Well, I'm at work, so actually I hurt myself trying not to laugh out loud. Either way, your subtle comedy has caused me pain, but it's a good pain, kind of like when my back aches from spending the whole day scrubbing the floors.

This is the best post ever. I've probably been banned from their mailing list since I'm not having children and am therefore completely useless as a human being (except for the ability to hand feed my husband and wait for him by the door). I knew we have been devolving with this issue, but crepe I had no idea how bad it is!

If I were just a bit more full of myself, I would have this printed on a shirt, and I would wear it every day.

I have a "don't read the comments" policy for 99.9% of websites. It's just not worth it.

I was super confused by the men who went off about how offended they were on behalf of their stay-at-home wives. Um. Did I miss the part where Raspy denigrates women who choose to be homemakers? It’s almost as if they are saying, "I am SO righteously angry over this issue that I don't even have to read the post OR be logical!"

Ha, I'm down with stay-at-home moms, stay-at-home dads, stay-at-home grandparents, whatever. I'm also down with working moms, dads, etc. Everybody should be able to make that choice, without being pressured into one role or another, and to not feel guilty for whatever choice they make. I know that's a totally radical notion.

The best part was a response to one of those comments which basically says it sucks that women have to work full time AND take care of their homes and kids because their husbands don't do anything and that it is all feminism's fault.

I might have to take that back, this one is better

It's similar to women who convinced men they were "dirty" during their periods so they could all go relax in a hot spring or hut during the worst part.

Yup, I'm sure it was women who decided they wanted wash their bits with Lysol as well!

Where's my hot spring? I feel cheated.

Blasphemy! You are going to undo the fabric of society with that kind of talk. The next thing you know little boys will want their toe nails painted pink and then no one will want to go to war!

! I saw a commercial for this shiitake while watching the Weather Channel this morning! urgle. It seemed like a fairly normal commercial...just about a woman and her baby (because, really, she doesn't have anything else in her life...except maybe a husband to hand feed), and then I saw who it was by and I was horrified.
