We're passing out mini bags of pretzels. I would normally buy two huge bags of candy, but we don't get as much traffic as we used to. At least this way my niece can take the leftovers to school for snacks.

The entire time I've lived here (6 years?) I've only had about two or three trick or treaters (if that) come to the door.
I'm (North) American so Halloween is a big deal to me, and it's kind of sad. I'm hoping to get dressed up and get drunk this year though... :(

I'm picking up a bag of the Yummy Earth lollipops. Carl wanted to buy this life-sized cardboard cut-out of Justin Bieber we saw in Vermont, dress it up, and leave the bowl out, but I talked him out of it. It would have been to large to carry back on the plane, and I didn't want to pay for an extra seat.

I found small individually wrapped chick-o-sticks tonight. So I am giving out those. I'm doing a craft show on Saturday so I'm taking them there and the leftovers for Sunday night. I don't know if there will be many kids here.

I got Sour Patch Kids, Swedish Fish, Smarties and the mini boxes of Halloween flavored Dots. Now I just hope we get some trick-or-treaters.

I bought the little boxes of dots. They had the ghost dots too in little boxes but I wasn't sure what they were like so I didn't get them.

The ghost ones just taste like regular Dots, but they're all the same spooky pale green color so you don't know what flavor you're getting.

I know, I am a little slow, but I am so happy I don't care what anyone thinks. I am giving out Laffy Taffy folks, and I am eating half. No, seriously, my cheeks actually hurt, I am smiling so much.

:( A bunch of very non-vegan chocolate bars - I shopped earlier this month, before I decided I was tired of hiding my head in the sand about my diet

I moved to a new neighborhood in May, so I have no idea what to expect kids-wise. But I'll buy some smarties and laffy taffy and other sugary kiddie crack tomorrow and see what happens. I already bought some tombstones to put in the yard tomorrow.
