I'm going to be in Portland a couple days for some family stuff. My mom booked a hotel for everyone somewhere around the Rose Garden (I don't remember which one she said it was) Do you know of any vegan places to eat around there?

If she means the Rose Garden - the big one is up near NW 23rd...so the closest vegan-friendly food is on NW 23rd and 21st. There's a Laughing Planet, Indish, Bewon.. This is also on the major #15 and 20 bus lines and Max Line (if you're indeed near the Rose Garden)

If she means Rose Quarter (which makes more sense for hotels), that's more in a central location and right on a ton of bus and max lines, again. The closest vegan places would be Blossoming Lotus on NE 15th and VooDoo Doughts Too. Again, both places are walkable - so is downtown, but there are a ton of easy buses/maxes.

If it's in NW then seriously consider never eating in the area and just taking MAX or a bus to the east side. Then live it up.

Thanks for all the ideas! I will try to verify with her which it is to try and narrow down the area a bit.
