Have you just discovered this? You are in for a wonderful world of menu experimentation, then! Love this joint, love everybody there, especially love the soy curl fajita burrito (add vegan sourcream) right now.

i'm pretty sure alicia isn't the only cruz who's vegan. i believe her brother and father are as well, but i might be mistaken. we eat los gorditos at least once a week. it's my favorite!

Unfortunately, the tamales are no longer. I probably will not be back. I tried the corn tortillas with mixed veggies and beans, but it didn't suit my tastes. On the search for good vegan Mex food in PDX, let me know if you can help.

I really like the Bryan's bowl at PorQue Nos. I crave it. So freaking good. I am not blown away by Gorditos either, sorry.

Nutri Taco on Alberta has nice tacos and amazing nachos. But if you don't like Los Gorditos, I'm not sure I'm the best judge of what's good. I freakin' love Los Gorditos.

I love Por Que No too. For Gorditos, for some reason I prefer the cart to the restaurant. It always tastes better to me--not sure why.

I think the only disappointing thing I've had is the bean burrito. It's just really boring to me since I don't find the beans as amazing as everyone else does. I find that if I get tofu or soy curls with something, I will love it. Tortas and gorditas are my favorites.

I've had dreams of this place since last I went to Portland. It's sad cuz it's right across from Portobella and both are amazingly amazing but hard to eat both in one sitting haha. Trip to Portland isn't right without eating at at least one of those places.
Mmm mm good... might stop at Gordito's while I'm in PDX next month.
