I need some fresh grape leaves (about a handful) for a batch of fermented pickles.
Have you ever seen them at a grocery store or do you have a grapevine in your yard?

Also does anyone want any pickling cucumbers? I have way more than I can use.

I would think that Barbur World Foods would have them! I would call them and ask.

Barbur World Foods said they are very seasonal and they didn't have them right now.
Whole Foods said they tried selling them a few months ago but no one bought them so they no longer carry them.
Cherry Sprout Produce didn't have them (suggested just looking around for a grapevine or trying a farmer's market)
New Seasons didn't have them (suggested trying an Asian market like Anzen or Vieng Lao)

HOWEVER!
I took a walk during lunch and noticed there was a house right by my work with a grapevine on their fence. Problem solved.
It's funny that I walk by that house every day but never noticed the vine before.

Nice! I was gonna say I just walked by a house yesterday on NE 30th between Killingsworth and Alberta with a grapevine all along the fence right next to the sidewalk. I remember because I ate a whole bunch of grapes!

Yeah, and picking grape leaves won't (or shouldn't) bother anybody because it's actually good for grape vines to have leaves removed.
