I think there's a vegetarian one up at Proper Eats - free volunteer run potluck.

Also, there's a Thanksgiving themed farmer's market this weekend: http://www.pdxpipeline.com/2011/11/16/p ... ontavilla/ I don't know if I can wait until Sunday to buy my stuff, but looks like it'll have a great selection of local goods!

FYI, I went to the harvest farmer's market at 11am (it started at 10am) and they were just about sold out of everything. I bought the last 10lb bag of onions, and we had to get some reds mixed in to get to that weight. No sweet potatoes, no kale, no brussel sprouts. And although I bought cranberries from Eagle Creek there, I saw their cranberries at New Seasons later for 50cents less. Kind of a bummer.

BUT, we did get a new squash to try and some adorable looking carrots - plus, I love handing money directly to the farmers. :)
