Oh god. So good. I never made it out to Beaverton, cuz ew, Beaverton, so today was an absolute treat.
A bit on the pricey side, enough where I wont eat there every day, thank goodness.
All-American stack was freaking delicious. I can't remember the last time I had onion rings.
Mac-n-cheese was not bad, but just tasted like daiya, so I'll save the $3 and make that dish at home.
Slaw was light and had great flavor.
So stoked. So glad I work like three blocks away.

I work so close! I might go tomorrow; it is my mission to try every buffalo chick'n sandwich available to me.

I went on Tuesday and today. It was a madhouse both days. I had the stack, grillin' chicken and bayou chicken burger. All really good. I work one block away!

Oooh Veggie Grill! I had the Santa Fe Crispy Chickin Burger which was super super legit. I agree that the Mac n Cheese was kinda plain so I probably wont get that again. As far as the atmosphere goes, I thought the music was really stupid and the customer service was really sort of creepy and fake so I will probably just order to-go. I also work like, 3 blocks away so I will have to try really hard not to eat there everyday.

Yeah the employees bug me too, but I am just an old grump and will complain about everything. It was hard to eat my own lunch today knowing the Grill is a block away. We might need to form a VG Anonymous group. The chili is bland that comes with a burger btw, had it twice now.

I'm not sure what different it'll make, but the grand opening is today. I'm going for dinner (again) later. I seem to only have thoughts for the B-Wing salad now. I got a sandwich for take out lunch the other day, and had a big soft bun/what am I thinking?!?!? experience.

Finally went! There was a long line and didn't seem to be any grand opening festivities. Got the buffalo wing salad and it was awesome, though I wish the ranch were a little more flavorful and the buffalo sauce a little spicier. I also felt a little healthier than I do after eating at homegrown smoker.

I failed to not eat there again today. I must stop. Had the American Stack. Pretty solid.

I went again tonight and had the crab cake sandwich, but served on a bed of kale. If you want to do something healthier just get a salad, because a breadless sandwich was really disappointing. I was expecting something different for some reason, like that they would actually make it a salad instead of just taking the bread off? But, the crab cake itself was really good.

I wasn't excited. The main dishes are just gardein to me, which I don't like. I thought the sides were good but I doubt I will go back for the price.

ok am pretty much over it. It is way too expensive for the tiny slab of faux chicken I had on my sandwich today. And the employees really forking bug me. I'd rather support DC Veg.

HGS/DC Veg > Veggie Grill, but it's all right in that I'm-craving-Applebee's kind of way.

I mean, it could be the best vegan restaurant in pretty much any city outside of Portland.

I definitely think it's pricey for my budget, but I still think it's pretty crazy great to see office type people carrying the bags (okay, that contain boxes) to-go for lunch all over downtown.

My husband took 9 of his non-veg coworkers there for the soft opening and they all loved it! But it would be nice if they had more less expensive options for lunch.

I just hate $9 sandwiches that don't include fries. I'll still get that buffalo chicken salad occasionally, though.

I had DC Veg today. Much better value. It is cool that VG is always busy with office types, I agree, but I'd like it if their expensive sandwiches were more consistent. I have eaten there 5 times now and twice the chicken slab was way small.

I like to upgrade the TLT at D.C. into a sub roll...it makes enough to share with someone else (but to be fair, I don't eat A LOT of sandwich) and well worth the mere 50 cents or whatnot.
