Potluck / Picnic / Hangout Sunday May 19th?

I'm going to be in town in May for VVC, yay! I'll be there super early (with my dude) and we'd love to hang out with some PPKers! Does anyone fancy getting together for a potluck / park picnic thing somewhere (open to suggestions as we've never been to Portland before!) on Sunday 19th? I can bring the Vegusto / Cheezly / other exciting British snacks!

It sounds like late afternoon / early evening's best for people so maybe 2-ish? I can also do later if it's better for everyone else? Where would be a good spot to picnic it up?

Later would work better for me (after 4:30ish) and it will probably not be as hot.

As for where... There are tons of great options: Washington or Forest Parks, along the waterfront downtown, Mt. Tabor or Laurelhurst Parks in SE... Maybe even just in one of the parks across from Food Fight! & the Vegan minimall?

Do we want to say 4 at Laurelhurst? And then people can keep arriving as they can? I'd say at that time we wouldn't start eating until 4:30 or so.

The 15 (Belmont to Gateway TC) stops at Belmont and Caesar Chavez, which is super close! You can use trimet.org to plan your trip from wherever you're coming from. :-)

Do we have a count for how many people are coming? And where should we meet at in the park? Same location as last time? Between the 35th and 37th street entrances (on the south side) where there are some picnic tables just off the path? There should be plenty of shade there although it isn't supposed to be very warm out.
