I am headed to Portland for the last week of April this year. Any must visit vegan eateries any PDXers recommend? We want to make the most of our 7 days there!

Where are you coming from? I feel like that makes a difference.

There are so, so many must-visits but off the top of my head I'd say hit up 1-2 vegan bakeries, 1-2 vegan carts (Native Bowl and Homewgrown Smoker come to mind), VooDoo (but go to the Eastside one to experience less of a crazy line), and 1-2 happy hour spots (even if you don't drink - there are totally options and great food): Sweet Hereafter, White Owl and Bye & Bye are the tops for that. Sorry for all the parenthesizing here, ha. If you have special food interests or needs, like gluten-free or you really, really want great vegan Thai food, we can give better recs, I'd bet! Oh, and go out for brunch! Portland has really lovely vegan brunch options (Portobello, A.N.D., Juniors, Vita, Blossoming Lotus, on and on) and there's a recent thread on favorite scrambles.

This is great advice! Thank you so much! I've already read up on Homegrown Smoker and am really excited about experiencing that.
