Good stuff - thanks for the info! It could be fun to do a get-together there once they're settled in.

I need to know more about this! I'm probably heading Vancouverwards after VVC!

HMPH! Gluten free. I hate gluten free. I'm in a terrible mood.

This place opened. It is called Harlow, and they serve eggs. Anyone been yet?

Huh, I'm disappointed that it's not all vegan, but I am planning on checking it out in the next few days for sure!

Harlow is really tasty. I have no idea why they have eggs. They seem to be otherwise vegan, so it's a drag to see eggs on the menu. All gluten free. The vegan mac n cheese has a bit of daiya in it, which I usually don't like, but here's it's subtle and really really good. Super excited to have this place on Hawthorne, where the food is otherwise not that great. It's a lovely space. They had some yummy almond butter xgfx cookies today with chocolate. The menu is similar to Prasad, but there are some departures. It's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I haven't dined there yet (I have a mild cashew allergy and so many options are sadly off the table) but just walked past tonight, and holy cow, so spacious.

So spacious, and so very few tables! I was there again last night and it was full, with one person at each of the enormous tables, so there was nowhere to sit. And then tonnes and tonnes of weird empty floor space.

I do like that mac n' cheese though.

Yeah, I thought that was really weird. They could fit so many more tables in that space.
