Hi! I realize this is a weird question - but I figured it would be better to get someone's personal advice on a primary care doctor before taking random shots at calling doctors from a google search.

I have a bunch of health issues. Notable, my interstitial cystitis is a big issue now. I'm seeing a specialist for that. But I'm also having serious fatigue issues. Law school + falling asleep every hour is not so good :(

So I need to find a primary care doctor to go to. I haven't been to one since I moved here. I'm just looking for someone knowledgeable. Also, by posting here, I'm assuming it will be doctors more informed on veganism. Although, I'm sure that isn't hard to find in Portland.

Anyway, any recommendations would be wonderful. Anywhere within Portland is fine. I live in outer SE, but I drive to L&C every day for school - so I'm used to commuting a bunch.

Thanks!

I don't know what your insurance situation is, but my doctor is Dr. Crystal Query at the Providence NoPo Health Center. I like her a lot!

I never saw this thread! My doctor Jennifer Wallace is amazing. It's a one woman practice, no receptionist, nurses or anything. She reserves 90 minutes for every appointment and you feel like you're not being rushed out of the room for the next person. Her office is in inner SE.

Sometimes she has a waiting list to become a patient, so if you need someone now she might not work out for you.

Nebraskalaska, your doctor sounds perfect. I'm actually still working out insurance issues - so I can't see anyone quickly anyway. It's perfect that I can make an appointment now and wait a bit! I'll call tomorrow!

Thank you both for the help!
