Go there whenever you find yourself in North Beach. I feel like whenever I'm within a 10 block radius of this place, I HAVE to go in. I can't escape it... The chocolatier Jean-Marc is super friendly and that French accent is so cute - exactly what I'd picture in some super cliche American-In-France movie. He makes 3 vegan flavors: dark, hazelnut, and orange. And they're so friggin' goooood. :)

I remember when he attempted to open up in Montclair (east bay) and had almost zero customers. It made me sad, they did not appreciate his greatness!

Yes, I went to the one in Montclair twice last year, I think... I didn't know they closed that location down. But I guess it's not that surprising since both times I went it was empty, with no lines, and no one even glancing inside.

I work up in North Beach, and I hit up XOX every once in a while. Those vegan truffles are awesome, but I could eat $30 in one go, so I have to stay away most of the time!
