Adopt a Kitten! That's an order!

My mother in law/Son of Seitan's mother is a landlady in Palm Springs who rescues a lot of cats. Most recently, she rescued an abandoned litter of kittens from near one of her buildings and bottle fed them until they were old enough to be adopted. They're currently about 8 weeks. Mike and I have adopted one, and we found a home for another. We brought back a third kitten with us from Palm Springs, hoping it would be easier to find a home for it in San Francisco than in Palm Springs, which is totally overrun with cats. We're taking all of them to the vet Wednesday, and we'll hopefully be able to get them all their shots and all that. After that's all taken care of, we want someone to adopt the other kitten!

His name right now is Sid, and he's a little black kitten who's litter trained and very sweet. He's been very well socialized and has a really great personality. Mike will be able to post a bunch of pictures to blow your mind, but if anyone in the Bay Area has room in their life for a rescue kitten, please let us know.

I've dedicated half my morning to helping you guys find an amazing adopter. I have two leads and I hope they work out because they are awesome people!

THOSE KITTENS. I LOVE THEM.

There are two more than can be brought up to the Bay Area if people are interested!

Also, the other two are in Palm Springs, so if any LA or similar PPKers are interested, we can get these guys to you as well. Mike's mom is willing to drive them if good homes are found.

OMG. I want one so bad! We already have one cat and he's pretty hesitant to get another one, but I'm working on convincing the old ball and chain (our cat is old and crotchety and he and my husband don't really like each other so he's kind of not feeling the cat love right now).

I believe the kitten has been homed! A friend of Mike's is going to take him, but we will be holding on to him for another 2 weeks, while she is out of town. Man, feels good to have found homes for some kittens in need!

However, if anyone is interested in either a kitten or an adult cat here in the Bay Area, Mike's mom has two kittens and 3 cats in need of homes in Palm Springs. Like I said earlier, she is willing to drive them up here as long as they get a good home, so tell your friends!

Oh some internet know it all told me I couldn't have cats. But I don't care. I'm adopting locally though.
