Anybody going to the Green Festival this year?

http://www.greenfestivals.org/sf/admission

We have family coming out to attend but we're still not sure if we're going. It seems really awesome: offering all sorts of forms, panels, lectures, text, and product information... But it's always a biggie to get me into a large crowd if it's not mandated by the necessity of my work.

I'll be there! Working. Please come say hi. PLEASE.

I'm stoked about some of the speakers, though!

Sugar Beat Sweets will be there at a green wedding booth with some partners- a photographer, floral designer, event planner, and invite maker. Sadly we aren't selling any treats this year, we're just repping our skills to get some wedding cakes on our schedule. But if you see any of us (we'll be wearing our tee shirts, probably), stop on by!

I'll probably go to get free samples and a vegan corndog. There were a lot of people hawking highly dubious health fads last year and that was kind of a turnoff, but it's worth a look if I can get in for free. And I hear you just need to bring in a Rainbow receipt from Nov.1-Nov.7 for $10 or more to do that.

I've never been. Looking forward to going Friday. Is it overwhelming?

I'll probably try going one day, but I need to figure out how I'll be getting in for free. I think last year if you brought a canned item you got free admission? Those corndogs and garlic fries, yummmmmmmmmm.

Wait a second. Already? I feel like the last one was 6 months ago, tops. Is this the same one in which you can get hammered on organic beer and wine and eat too many homemade kale chips?

I think they happen every 6 months, rather than every year!

Cool; I'm not going to make it. We just bought a house and should probably finish unpacking. Or that's what I've been told.

Those corndogs were forking awesome. Yeah, I had a corndog and garlic fries for lunch, what of it?! I missed SBS this time (as opposed to our awesome proximity at VegFest), but at least I got to catch up briefly with Erika.
