I'd like to do a week long pop-up, culminating in an awesome Sunday brunch. Any ideas on spaces to do it? It would need to have a fully functioning kitchen, with a commercial stove, dishwasher, and plenty of refrigeration.

I've contacted The Corner, no word back from them yet. So I'm looking for more ideas!

Maybe since your Ferry Building talk was such a success they'd be down to help? It could be a fancy setup outdoors or indoors after 6 when the place has completely emptied.

Week-long? That changes things. I'm still brainstorming!

I don't have any ideas but I just want to say that this sounds totally awesome. I will keep my eyes/ears open though.

Edit: Someone at work said they went to a pop up restaurant at 111 minna awhile ago, but I don't know any details about it.

Another edit: Apparently the Ambassador has had pop up restaurants before as well. http://www.ambassador415.com/

Oh, I think Mike has a contact at 111 Minna. I will ask him about it!

So update: there is no update! No one has gotten back to me. I'd love some more ideas, either in Oakland, Berkeley or SF. 111 Minna and the Ambassador don't have a full kitchen unfortunately.

I know the Guerilla Cafe in Berkley has had pop ups before. I've never been but I was reading about it in a newspaper once. I don't know about the kitchen facilities.

Yes, I've contacted them, thank you! Looks like they are open for business 7 days a week so I'm not sure it will work out.

I know Stable Cafe has a kitchen that they rent out. They're a coffee place, but they close early every day, I think. They might be open to something in the evening...

The Swedish hall also has a commercial-grade kitchen.

Does the Women's Building on 18th have a kitchen? I went to a curry cook-off there. It's quite beautiful.
