Hey Bay Area,
I'm coming home for a few weeks this winter, and will be looking for people to come and tell me stories (for the fun of it - and also for my Dutch ph.d. project). I will probably be recording from my aunt's house in Berkeley. I would love if you + a friend would come, and I am ready to bring you speculoos in exchange for a half hour or so of your time. If you're interested, or think you might be, can you leave a note here so I have an idea how much speculoos to buy? I'll be around January-February.

Good question! What I recorded in Germany in March, there were a few prompts like "Tell me (ie: the friend you brought with you) about something you experienced which involved bureaucracy, airport security, etc." and "Tell me about something you witnessed, such as a random act of kindness, an accident, or anything else".
I haven't decided on prompts yet for this round, but it will surely be something like that, and in any case, you get to choose what you will talk about.
