Scream sorbet! The best frozen dessert you'll ever put in your mouth.... now with it's own thread!
So far I've tried: Coffee hazelnut Peanut brittle Pistachio Pink pearl apple Charentis melon Peach Nectarine Grilled corn (!!!) Macadamia nut vanilla Coffee almond
I really wanna taste the beet-lemon. And anything else that's available really. Which ones have you had?

Next week, I will go to the castro market and have some of this. I sampled their maple walnut and one of their summer peach flavours at the beehive market a while back, and it was SO GOOD. SO. GOOD.

ah! how could I forget cashew caramel?! I had that one too. It was the one (along w/ Pistachio) that I refused to share!
I hope they will do some good fall flavors like pumpkin pie!

oooh! they are selling gift certificates now to help raise $$ to open the store. Awesome deals.... Especially if you drop $1000..... haha. But for real - even for a $25 gift certificate you get a free 12oz container!

YES. Best sorbet EVER. I initially thought $3 was a ludicrous price to pay for a single scoop of sorbet, but now I always make sure I have $3 ready for the farmer's market, no matter what.
My favorite flavor of all time is their roasted kabocha squash and coconut. Also, the grapefruit pernod. Also, the jasmine lime. And the pepper one (anaheim?) that they had recently.
I don't think they've made any flavors that I don't like and I only don't try the (very rare) flavors that aren't vegan. Like the brown butter morel flavor.

Oh yeah, I only buy their sorbet at the farmer's market because a) I like talking to the sorbet guy! and b) I could get myself into way too much trouble financially and nutritionally if I brought this shiitake home!

jengomonas wrote: Pink pearl apple Oh, I loved that one too. I was not expecting to like it but (not for the first time) (definitely not the last time) they sold me on the merit of a sample. SO good and crisp tasting. The sorbet guy told me it's because they don't have to cook down the apples or add lemon juice to them because the pink pearls don't oxidate/turn brown. Or something like that. The beet lemon didn't move me, but I don't like beets. Also, I just remembered that my other favorite flavor was the fresh bergamot flavor. Fresh bergamot?! It is incredible. I hope they have it again this winter.

I'm an addict. These are all the flavors I've ever bought packs of, I think? I'm probably leaving some out... I've tried way more, samples and scoops, but don't remember them all. Pistachio* Coffee Almond* Santa Rosa Plum (Freakin' good!) Strawberry Aprium Chipotle Chocolate Hazelnut Chocolate Hazelnut Coffee Macadamia Vanilla Blueberry Keitt Mango Cashew Caramel Chocolate Almond Coffee Almond Peanut Brittle Ruby Red Grapefruit Nectarine Habanero (YUM!) Maple Walnut (DELICIOUS! Especially on top of waffles...) Muscat Grape Concord Grape Watermelon Sugar Pie Pumpkin Coconut Thai Basil Vanilla Almond* Peanut Vanilla Raspberry Walnut Askinosie Chocolate* Meyer Lemon Pecan Bourbon Spicy Chocolate Pecan *Currently partially-eaten in my freezer... I really need some Vanilla Almond right about now.

Maggie Mudd is like good vegan ice cream, often times with mix-ins. Scream is very smooth sorbet - they don't add a "cream" to their product. If you want the more "ice creamy" flavors from Scream, get the ones with nuts in them. All their flavors are amazing, they just don't have any chocolate chips, cookie bits, or caramel swirls mixed in. I do like Scream better than Maggie Mudd, though...

I've had these ones! I am a little sad to see I haven't tried everything on your list though. You win! This week I had a half-scoop of concord grape and a half-scoop of peanut butter chocolate. Totally awesome.

You should ask Scream to open a store in LV just for you so your BF doesn't have to drive all that way just so you can have some of their sorbet... haha.

Woot!! My Scream gift cards came in the mail Friday! I am supposed to get to go to a testing in their kitchen too! If they're still offering the cards, they're a great deal.
I also heard that they are testing vegan cookies now for their sorbetwiches.... supposedly sending some over to the vegansaurus folks? @jordanpattern - did you get to try any?

You think that's be enough deterrent for me, but no... I'd rather freeze than be without that damned sorbet. Help me. Ha ha ha. My deal with myself is that I just buy scoops. I know it's less cost effective but it means I eat 1 scoop of sorbet a week instead of 12 oz of sorbet a week. I love their sorbet so much that I eat it when it's freezing cold outside or raining or whatever. Sometimes I go by their stand at the farmer's market and am like "not going to buy anything this week, just going to check out flavors!" and somehow they always seem to sell me SOMETHING. They have gift cards right now and I'm thinking about buying some but it seems kinda silly because I know what would really happen is that I would end up using them for myself. But if I was just going to buy the sorbet anyway in the future... isn't this kinda like a CSA? A SORBET CSA?! I think I just talked myself into it.
