Me too! They were my Wednesday treat when the farmer's market was downtown all last summer. :(

I'm definitely going to pick some up from the store tomorrow. I hope they stay open! Even my omni sweetheart likes their pistachio sorbet better than any pistachio gelato or ice cream.

My favorite is the saffron almond. O, saffron almond, ILU.

I swung by this afternoon - they have pistachio now! I picked some up and also hazelnut chocolate.

There were a jillion people at Bakesale Betty's spilling down the street and at first I thought they were all there for sorbet. Maybe I should have corralled them.

I am really sad about it too. The guy that owns them isn't the most together/business kind of guy. I know they had posted in Facebook that they were trying to find ways to stay open, so any sales will probably help!

I'm not on Facebook, so I didn't know! I've gone from an early adopter to a cranky pants!

It looks like the shop was closed down yesterday - about an hour after I was there - due to a permit issue. To sum up: it's not a food safety issue, they had a mobile food cart license and not a commissary kitchen license. :(

They had just made up some huge batches, too! Not sure if they will still be at farmers markets past this weekend, but they are planning a free sorbet soirée on March 8th, location TBA. There will likely be pistachio.

Yeah, they were operating for a long time in a grey area that suddenly turned black, they said.

I have to admit that when I saw that Shopper's Corner in Santa Cruz had pistachio and some other flavors, I bought like 4 cartons.

I don't know if they'll be at the Temescal farmers market tomorrow but if they are I've warned my sweetheart I'm hoarding.

I will be forever grateful for this post!!! Just bought 4 cartons myself. I had no idea where to find scream other than farmers' markets!!

Lucky duck! Everywhere here that had them doesn't anymore, or perhaps they have already sold out right under my checking and rechecking nose. I do hope they can at least come back to the farmers markets!
