I'm experimenting with a no-bake pumpkin cheesecake. If it comes out well (fingers crossed!), expect to see it at the potluck!!

I just saw this! The 4th doesn't work for me but I wish you all lots of good eating! Take lots of pictures and I will vicariously gain weight with you.

(By the fourth I'll (hopefully) have a week old newborn and my in-laws are in town.)

I want to bring persimmon-orange salad! And some kinda desserty treat if there's not going to be an overflow of desserts already.

Is anyone bringing a nut-free dessert? I was going to bring one so Arron can have something if everyone else is bringing nutty things.

Also is anyone allergic to soy or anything? The white sauce for my butternut lasagna calls for soy milk, but if there are allergies/intolerances I will use rice milk.

All of this food sounds so wonderful!

Oh, mine has cashews in it so I guess no but I thought Kathy was going to bring a fruit pie?

Everything is sounding so good. I shouldn't read this thread right before lunch time!

Yup, my apple pie will be nut-free. I was thinking of inviting Omer and bringing a second dish - maybe something green?

I'm more excited about this potluck than real Thanksgiving x1000!

Me too!

I'm going to bring a dessert with pecans, but my entree will definitely be nut free. Also, I'm good to go on soy! I might also bring my boyfriend, and he is a nut! But hopefully Aaron won't be allergic to him. Is this at autumn's place in Los gatos?

Yeah, I'm cool with hosting if it's convenient location for everyone! I also don't mind going to SC if it's easier for C&S.

Los Gatos sounds fun to me, but I am also happy to host if people would rather have it in Santa Cruz... especially our preggers friend Cold & Sleepy.

Where are the peeps?

In Santa Cruz would be easier for me after all... Los Gatos is usually fine but I've been feeling so crappy this week. (Nothing contagious!) Also, I totally forgot to get solipsistnation to buy persimmons for me for the party. Trouble in paradise!

I'm super happy to host in Santa Cruz on Sunday, it'd be no problemo. What time do we want to have this gathering? Lunch time? Late lunch? Dinner? Say the word birds!

I am just writing up my shopping list!

I'm cool with lunch or dinner....but if we do lunch can we do later that 12?

I better do some shopping too. I still haven't figured out exactly what I'm making!

I'm still bringing butternut lasagna. And some type of bread or rolls or something.

Yeah 1:30 works for me!

The food sounds amazing! Clearly, I need to be eating all my meals with PPKers. I have been slacking off in the tasty food dept lately.

Late lunch is good for me! We'll show up whenever the Emperor wakes up from his nap, so maybe a little bit late. We just got back from the store and I forgot persimmons again (dammit) but I'll bring... something. Something.
