Since there is not a n.cal specific forum I wanted to post here.

Raley's now has Miyoko's cheeze (3 flavors), Daiya Mac (in reg. mac section), Daiya cheeze cake (in reg pie section), B&J all 4 almond milk flavors (special df freezer section - not natural foods), Nada Moo and more. Good for the 209 - still lacking that Whole Foods swag.

Things also differ store to store, market to market, etc. One Raley's in the swankier suburban part of my area has the best natural foods section I've ever seen and is the only place I've ever found Tofutti drumsticks (ohhh man). Other locations? Eh, alright, but not much better than any sort of Kroger outpost (Smith's where I live).

MMC - How were the prices? Less than Whole Foods? I really want to buy Miyoko's shiitake for less than $10. I had the double cream and chive at a couple parties and i am in LOVE.

I haven't seen Miyoko's for less than $10, anywhere.

about the same as WF/co-op prices. $9. i do a lot of my shopping at raley's (the rest trader joe's / grocery outlet).

the raley's i shop is not a newer - $$$ area store. just down the street and has been there for years but they have a great nf department. tofutti drumsticks to all daiya cheezes and great indian sauce/spices section/ ethnic stuff.
