I figured it deserves it's own thread.

So is everyone ok with Nov. 19? With respect to where to meet up, I'd be happy to host if everyone can get there (I'm in Los Gatos). But I don't mind going to Santa Cruz if that is easier for anyone.

OK I think I am going to bring stuffed portabellas and maybe some side dishes, like cranberries or sweet potatoes.

oh my gosh, I've been so busy, I"ve hardly been on the PPK and I missed all this fun! What a super sweet idea! But shoot, I'm attending a workshop this weekend. Shucks!

hoorah for cold and sleepy!!!

also, this is good because our family celebration is turning out to be a bit of a dud. my cousin and her husband usually come from florida, but instead my aunt and her boyfriend are going there. So that's 4 people less. Then, my other aunt and her boyfriend are going camping (what the fizzle?!), so there's just going to be a few of us. It actually made me cry. Because I love my family that much. Uncool, but true. And, now I will be the only vegan, instead of one of seven. BUT, I am so happy to have this festivity to look forward to and plan for!! It will be awesome! And I can make something special and fun! Yay!

Sorry to hear your family will be elsewhere this year. We will just have to plan an extra special potluck with lots of goodies. :)
