Erika and I have been saying for a while that we should start a regular event where people can come and write to vegans in jail. It's such a simple thing to do, and it means so much to folks behind bars. We're thinking of doing it at a place like Beer Revolution or Bender's on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
Are any of you guys interested? Is there a place/date/time you would prefer? Erika and I can bring lists of prisoners and addresses, paper, envelopes, and stamps, so all you'd need to bring is yourself and your letter-writing pants.

That sounds good to me! I'd definitely prefer somewhere in the city for easy access purposes, and weekend afternoons sound good to me. I'm generally pretty flexible, but I have a friend visiting over the long weekend coming up, so I wouldn't be able to do any of those days.

I'd be down depending on when, of course! The next couple weekends are crazy for me but it should settle down eventually.
