It's the boyfriend's b-day this weekend and we'll be in SF for the weekend and some of next week to celebrate back in his hometown. I was wondering if there are any clean swimming pools around? The less crowded the better as I don't actually know how to swim in anything deeper than a five footer (in which I love feeling for the ground) and I wouldn't want to erm, embarrass myself. This may not be 100% feasible (correction: it isn't) on a hot day. What say you, San Franciscans? Oh, and I've been in some unkempt small pools in my life, but just wanna make sure it's really clean. We're picky. We're looking for leisure swimming, not really the sort where you swim in lanes. I've found many on Yelp, but you know, Yelp isn't PPK.

I got nothing. I think "clean, public" is an oxymoron here in SF.

I remember walking past Hamilton Recreation Center and thinking that it looked like a lot of fun. Water slides!

Mission Playground is probably the best, but it's closed until August. Helpful, I know. It's going to be really chilly this weekend so you probably wouldn't want to go anyway.

Several hotels have indoor pools, maybe you can find one with a day pass? Not free, obviously. I know the St. Regis has an amazing pool and so does the W. But those will cost you plenty. I don't know, SF isn't really a swimming pool kind of town, maybe try East Bay or the Peninsula where it's warmer and more suburban? Have fun here!

Why dont you hire some pool cleaner, they will help you to clean the pool and surrounding area....
