I didn't realize this was going to be open so quickly! It opened on Tuesday, 11/5. I checked it out tonight as it is conveniently located 2 blocks from my boyfriend's house. It seems to me it's not a great use of the space despite it being purpose-built new construction-- too long and narrow.

I noticed the standard vegan options available at other Bay Area WFs (donuts, daiya, frozens, beyond meat salads, sushi, but for some reason couldn't find FFL queso), plus their hot bar features 3 Nepalese options from a local business which got started through La Cocina. If memory serves, all 3 options are vegan. I got some veggie momo which were a little too doughy and undercooked IMHO. The other two options were a daal and a thukpa.

I didn't see anything else mindblowing, but I was there with my boyfriend who has the flu and can't eat past 6pm because of another ongoing health issue, so I didn't want to torture him by making him wait around even longer while I scoured shelves.

Anyone else been yet? Amazing finds/scores I may have overlooked?

Haven't been there yet....do they have the doughnut holes? I've found those at Franklin, 4th and Rhode Island.

I have never seen these mythical donut holes of which you speak. I was there again earlier this week and picked up a muffin for my breakfast, and they have the donuts, but I didn't see donut holes.

Oh they are a treat -- they come glazed, crumble, cinnamon or old fashioned or a combination -- they sell them in little plastic boxes usually on floor tables near the bakery/ donuts area.

tell me more about these donut holes. Are they done in house by WF or are they Posh Bagels like the other donuts? I have never seen them at my local WF, but I live near the Berkeley WF which is a smaller store, like the Dolores store.

I'd guess they're in house, come priced by bulk/weight, around 4 bucks for around a dozen or so. Cake donut. Worth searching for.

I've seen them at SOMA, Oakland, and Walnut Creek. I'm pretty sure they're Posh.

They are 100 times better if you can microwave them for 15 seconds.

I'm willing to handle the massive sacrifice giving this a shot would require.
