Sooo it looks like I'll be in the Bay Area the last week of March. PPK meetup at Veggie Grill in San Jose??

Yes! My ticket is booked!
I'll be there from Mar 25-29. I realize those are week nights but would a Friday night (the 29th) work at Veggie Grill? We could make it later so people have time to get there and what-not. I really want to see ya'll!

I became vegan fairly recently and want to branch out in the local as well as online community. Is this event open to newbies? I live in San Jose and it would be great to meet local comrades!

Ack! I just realized this is Good Friday on Easter weekend. Does that affect anyone's availability at all? Is Good Friday even a holiday in the U.S.? It's a statutory holiday in Canada and offices and stuff are closed, but I think restaurants are still open?

In the US some places are closed, maybe if the owners are Catholic. I had a job that gave us Good Friday off and it took me two years to realize why we had a holiday in April.
Anyway! I just called Veggie Grill and they don't have special hours for Easter weekend.
