I just found out yesterday! It's right next to a trader joes, big whole foods, and the counter, soooo that's exciting!

Yup, it's called Veggie Grill and it's on San Antonio & El Camino. Also close to the milk pail (super cheap produce).

There's been one at Santana Row for a few years now but I'm happy to see them branch out in the bay area.

Oh okay. I don't think I've run into that before-- I try to avoid Santana Row if I can help it...

oh man. if you haven't been to veggie grill before, it's great! basically a healthy-ish fast food chain that uses gardein. everything is awesome, especially anything with the buffalo wings like the b wing salad. and download the app before you go in because you can get a free "pick a pair" meal or free appetizer.

I'm so bummed! That's RIGHT where my husband lived, he was so close to the Milk Pail! I want him to move back there so I can crash and eat my weight in food at Veggie Grill now.

We went the day it opened and at least once a week since. I first tried Veggie Grill when I lived in LA years ago and I didn't like it. It can't compete with the amazing Mom and Pops in LA and it's no Native Foods either. But it's definitely the best in the Palo Alto-Mt. View area. A really great addition to the scene. And I feel like it increases our chances of landing a Native Foods some day!

Yeah, I don't know why we don't have a Native Foods here yet, considering they've expanded all through southern CA and elsewhere. When I was in college I went to the Costa Mesa whenever I could afford it! I miss the Soul Bowl.

Lobsterrific, I thought of you the other day when I was there!
