I finally got to try Little Baby's at the Trenton Ave Art Festival today. They are a tricycle-powered ice cream "truck" from Philly and specialize in unconventional flavors, and typically have at least one vegan flavor available. Today was coconut tea, which was very creamy, just sweet enough and had an incredible flavor. I took a picture, and I'll post it later. I'm really looking forward to these upcoming warm months. Philly's got some decent vegan ice cream spots now!q

Also, Freezy Freeze offers vegan icecream made with liquid nitrogen at the Red Bank Farmer's Market on Sundays. They are right across from the Cinnamon Snail truck...drool, this is a perfect Sunday afternoon.

I tried this at the Punk Rock Flea Market and got the Mint Oreo. It was good, but not amazing. But I hate complaining about stuff like this because it's still pretty rad.

Mint Oreo, in theory sounds delicious. I didn't end up going to the flea market, even though the guy and I had full intentions. I wish we went, just to try more icecream haha.

iminluv - I am not sure exactly what their intentions are...so far they've been at big events like the arts festival and the punk rock flea market. Hopefully they'll start riding around the city on the hot days of Philly.

We ran into Miss Rachel and she said the coconut tea one was really good, so maybe we just went with the wrong flavor!

And the flea market was ehhh as usual. But definitely some good people watching, hah.

Ditto on the people watching. I ate way too many vegan desserts and enjoyed Miss Rachel's wheatball sandwich. My husband helped me realize I'd had way too much sugar too fast to consider getting ice cream too...but looking forward to trying Little Baby's another time!
