To Massachusetts! As seen on tv in this thread , The Amazon Project and Chatter just graduated from high school, around the same time their school was destroyed by tornadoes. So awful. Consequently, their class missed out on some senior events. We should visit them this summer, before they go to college, and celebrate with them. What do you think? I have a hard time planning anything too far in advance bc of work but I want to make this happen!

I'm sooooo in. What does the rest of this month look like for you guys? I've got two weeks to kill (for some vegan friendly version of "kill") between June 18-July 3.

That would be too soon for me. I have a lot of work to do in the next few weeks. Later in July might be best?

Well, I'm kind of in the opposite situation, where I don't have a lot of firm commitments this summer so I have a shitton of free time, but I'm at the point where I'm having to actually make firm plans for what to do with my long stretches of free time. So, like, I know I'm free the next couple weeks, but "later in July" might be "oops, I really want to go with you but actually I'm on the other side of the country now". But, if we can't do it in the next couple weeks, check back in with me when you know when you want to do it and if I'm still around, I'll be in, and if I'm not, maybe by then I would know whether I'll be staying in the area after the summer or if I'm off on some other adventure. :)

If you have so much time now though you and whoever is available should go soon for a good length trip and actual fun drive! I would probably have a day or 2 tops sooo CQ I feel like you should take over :)

If people really want to drive, that takes like a day right? Maybe I could fly to meet (few airlines are doing $50 PHL-Bostons) since I need computer access 24/7. What town are they in, do you know? Well Mass isn't that big.

Okay, change of plans, we need to kidnap Randi and take her to some tropical paradise on a remote island. The kind where you lay around on the beach all day long and someone comes by to freshen your drink and/or massage your feet every so often and work doesn't exist.

I don't want to post the name of the town they live in, in case that's a privacy issue, but if you're friends with The Evil One on FB you can see it. GoogleMaps says it's about 4 1/2 hours but, fair warning, I have to stop to pee a lot. There doesn't seem to be any good way to do it that avoids the Jersey Turnpike. Also, I just realized that until I get rid of a bunch more of my stuff, I couldn't take another person in my car, because all my worldly possessions (stupid worldly possessions!!) will be in my car. I'm trying to work out to leave a bunch of this crepe at my parents' house in NY soon, though.
