if i come, i will make chocolate stout cupcakes. (we only had 39 bottles for our beer, so we had 3/4 gallon leftover that we couldn't put into appropriate containers, so i put it into a welch's juice bottle in the fridge.) if it gets suitably carbonated in the fridge, maybe i'll bring that too. (bad stuff shouldn't grow since it's in the fridge, so we should be safe.)

Thanks for the offer, but I'm def gonna have to skip this gathering. Sorry, I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I have so much going on right now. Not to mention I just got a last minute invite to my Grandpop in-laws b-day party on the 21st. Not even sure if I'm going to make that. But I guess I kind of have to.

I won't be able to make the 21st either, I'll be at the shore. The following Sunday would be better!

I'm a Washington Square kinda girl these days, which doesn't seem as hip as Rittenhouse is smelling. At least it doesn't smell like crack, pot smell ain't all that bad!

Don't rely on me for planning a gathering at all. My time and money are totally stretched to the max right now. And I'll be on vacation for the 27th/28th and Labor day weekend.

I really like Washington Square too.

Uh don't rely on me for any dates. I will probably be out of town the 28th. Should be around Labor Day. And I don't want to even think about how September is in 2.5 weeks.

Hi! Your city is beautiful. I'm really, really glad I live here.

So, I'm right across the street from a massive fountain that's surrounded by some pretty cool hedge type things that are shaped lie animals. Also I'm next to the natural history museum. I don't know if that will mean anything to anyone, but that's where I am!

So far I've found a really cute cafe, a small pet store that has kittens up for adoption (I think because they were abandoned, not like from miles or anything) that the owner is letting me play with whenever I miss my kitty too much, and the Whole Foods you guys were talking about (the BBQ seitan is delicious, holy shiitake).

I reallllyyyy love it here.

We get time to settle in, but it's busy time, if that makes sense. It's orientation week, so there's no classes, but there's lots of lectures about getting jobs, and being careful with alcohol (I skipped that one, though), and guest policies, and things like that. It's pretty interesting, and it's going to be really useful.
