It was great to see/meet many of you on Wednesday!

why am i the only one who has had luck speaking to naked chocolate employees about vegan chocolates (except for that weird e-mail that made no sense)? do i live in some alternate universe? i've probably been to the 13th and walnut location 7-10 times to buy chocolate, always double-checking about vegan-ness, and they are always like "yeah! this, this, this, and this are vegan! and all of our plain dark chocolate bars!" so weird. sorry y'all have had trouble. i don't get it.

That might be the answer - I've only ever been to the Rittenhouse location.

Man, I'm so bummed I didn't get to hang with you folks on Wednesday. I went to Melisser's book signing in NYC since I missed it in Philly, but there were loads of people there and I had no idea who the PPKers were. So I asked a couple people if they were from the PPK and most of them just looked at me like I had three heads. One turned out to be a news reporter, though, and she interviewed me for her article!
PPK nametags for all events like this in the future!!

I'm at Grindcore for the second time this week. Love this place! I am currently sipping an Almond milk latte and eating a slice of peanut butter bomb cake. I hope this is what vegan heaven will feel like.

The pb bomb brownie is my favorite pb bomb variation. It's soooo much pb mousse though.

Yeah, I know this may be sacrilege to say, but I'm not a huge cake fan (as compared to other desserts), so I agree about the PB bomb brownie. It so much better than the cake/ cupcake to me. The first time I had it was at the storefront in bethlehem, and she put like 3 scoops of PB mousse on the brownie with chocolate sauce and PB drizzled on top. So good.

I like cake, but I don't really care for Vegan Treats cakes. They're always kind of dry for my taste. Their brownies, however, are amazing.

I can't believe there is a PB bomb brownie and I didn't know about it. This is not good for my avoiding sugar.

I think team blackbird/grindcore should open a vegan ice cream parlor!
